Numeric: Calculate Stress Gradients near ply cracks
for Mechanical, Thermal, and Moisture Loads.


Objective: Setup a problem for students to investigate how anisotropy effects stress gradients (singularities) near ply cracks a unidirectional fiber-reinforced composite made from alumina fibers and Polyether-ether-ketone (PEEK) polmyer matrix by using the Interactive Modules provided.
Prerequisites for Student: Lectures based on material in section 6.0 "Laminate Singularities Caused by Ply Cracks: FEM Model". One published manuscript, Ref[1], on laminate ply cracks will be passed out in class.
